What I actually do:

My days are spent personally talking with clients, listening to their goals, and uncovering what they want their money to do for them. I then find the tools and investments to try to make those goals a reality. It’s my job to know the best the industry has to offer, while considering the regulatory environment and market conditions that impact our clients’ lives.

My qualifications:

• CFP^® certification – this certification requires rigorous training and the holders are required to adhere to the highest standards of the financial services industry
• Life, health, long-term care, and disability insurance licenses held for the protection of clients and their assets
• FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses for specialization in comprehensive financial planning, including retirement and tax planning, risk management, and investment analysis and allocation
• Bachelor’s degree in business; master’s degree in humanities

How I spend my spare time:

I spend my spare time grabbing dinner with friends or sharing a Sunday afternoon with family. My travels allow me to try fantastic new foods, and I never hop on a plane without less than two professional development books in tow.
